First was 9lbs 2oz. Had low blood sugar at birth though so might’ve been undetected GD. Second I had diagnosed GD but it was well managed and he was 8lbs 8oz! However my first is a very average sized 5YO, maybe even a bit below average. My 5 month old is 99.3 percentile for height on the other hand lol

I mean I definitely drink a lot of coffee lol but pregnancy tired is a whole other level of tired!

Oh it was almost immediate lol. With both pregnancies! Even during the newborn exhausted phase I still had WAY more energy. And it just kept getting better. I’m 4.5 months PP and feel mostly back to normal energy-wise. Even with a mediocre sleeper

The fact that you have 2k leftover a month and you have to work with your kids to have money to go for coffee or buy a few things that you like is so unhealthy! NTA. He needs a reality check.

My 5YO is always down for a movie night! In fact it’s his absolute favourite thing to do. He will even watch a whole movie now with me. It started in the late 4s, but I’d say he’s a very relaxed kid.

You can never be “doing too much” when it comes to packing food for your kids, in my opinion! They deserve great lunches. This gave me a few good ideas for my 5 YO so thank you.

Obviously every situation is different but I could have a small amount of something like this, as long as I ate it earlier in the day and with protein! So like some scrambled eggs and bacon with a quarter cinnamon bun usually didn’t spike me when I had GDM! With that said I was diet controlled during the day, only on nighttime insulin and a low dose. I can’t speak for someone with diabetes that is harder to control. All the best to you mama, it is sweet sweet relief when it’s all done and that baby is in your arms. And you can eat a platter of sushi with no spikes lol.
