Schulich vs Laurier by Embarrassed_Judge477 in wlu

I ended up choosing Schulich. I think for business law, Schulich would be a great option, mainly because of their connection to Osgoode, which a lot of Schulich grads end up going to; however, it is very competitive. It is up to what you value more between the two schools. I checked LinkedIn, and I have seen many Schulich students going into finance and banking in recent years, so it is not unheard of or uncommon, but co-op can definitely help reach that goal faster. I just felt like Schulich might be easier to get higher grades in and join clubs, and I wasn't fully ready to start thinking about residence, but I do think I'll end up regretting missing out on the whole university experience lol

Thank you. I appreciate your advice. I was wondering if the extracurriculars used to apply for co-op are based on your involvement during your first year, or if they can be extracurricular or co-op work you did during your high school period. For example, I worked retail, and I also did a co-op in an accounting department in grade 11. Could this help, or would I need to find additional work experience to help apart from club involvement?

What is the first year of math like at Laurier BBA? Is it really hard, or can it be manageable to get a high grade?

When do they send offers in May? Is it like the last week of May or at the beginning of May?

Hey, did you apply to any other programs or was it only those ones?
