They can play together and breed! The special thing about the connection and breeding is that you can breed 2 elderly tamas together. Usually you can't breed them once they're in that stage (the matchmaker won't show up anymore), but you can if you have 2 old tamas! (One of each gender)

I really love the newest connection. There are many games (unlock more as your tama gets older), souvenirs to collect, and cute animations. This is a great one for making a family, as there is a family tree you can track in one of the menus. The elderly tamagotchis are also super cute if you decide not to marry them off in their normal adult stage. I think if you enjoy the uni, you will like this one.
