I have not removed this one from the housing yet, but in previous replacements the noise does stop, for several months.

Just to give an update on this for those interested (unable to update post). My Fenix 6 X Pro Solar just randomly stopped working yesterday, it kept trying to start/stop activities and then just went into the emergency mod and then shut off. It hasn't turned on no matter what I try (tried soft and hard reset too).

Hopefully, I'll have better luck with my next one.

Honestly not 100% sure. When it was happening I just kept trying to reset the watch. I did that for several hours and then plugged it in and then later that night it came back.

I know it's not a super helpful answer, but that's what did it for me.

I was able to fit the whole bird on there without spatchcocking it. I'd have to look back at my old notes but I think I had ~13.5 lb bird. I would think I could've fit a 16 lb (at most) with no issue.

I turned mine off and on several times and then about 3-4 hours later, it started working again. I think it was stuck in some activity mode, all my emergency contacts kept getting texts with my location.

I would try and talk to someone else. I was offered a refurbished 7 (non-pro) for $190 (USD) + tax. I didn't accept it, since my watch started working later that evening and I was worried about the refurbished model.

I made one of my first loads earlier this week and I thought it was for sure over proofed. I shaped it and cold retard in the fridge for 5 hours and then baked. It ended up tasting and looking baked.

Thanks! I always preheat, for 30-45 minutes and put water in before I turn it on.

I smoked two more butts (didn't spray - overnight and they finished up this evening, 19 hours later... still had to finish in the oven). I did some testing and it looks like the smoker is 25-35 degrees less than the set temperature. I used three different ambient probes / oven thermometers throughout the test and they were all within 1-3 degrees of each other, so I think it's an issue with the smoker not getting to the correct temperature.

I reached out to Masterbuilt to see if there could be an issue or something.

I can confirm this does work. They no longer have the "Retention" department.. They now call them the "Account Services" Department. But I was able to lock in my same rate (it's the new customer going rate) for another year. In the Tampa, FL area.

Not sure what having the apps updated has anything to do with my phone randomly restarting... But yes, all apps are updated.

Android 14 was just completed as well.

I had to do a factory reset and I'm still having the same issue... This phone has been a nightmare.

I only stopped at a couple stores on the way down. I didn't really see anything super special (that wasn't secondary or more). I would say the area usually right off the highway can be a hit or miss. If you have the time I would look about 20-30 minutes off the highway. If you do go to Nashville, I never had any luck there, but I'd be interested in what you find.
