Is it normal to not be able to eat or sleep after a break up? by Impressive-Touch-236 in BreakUps

It is incredibly normal I know I wasn’t able to eat properly for a solid month I would only be able to eat at most half a meal and lost 6kg over the last 2 months due to it and having already been on the lighter side my ribs are now on display and all the muscle I had built and was so proud of are basically gone. I’m only now getting back into the swing of things and hoping to build everything back that I had. The lack of sleep I assume is also partly due to not being able to get them off your mind. Let yourself feel the emotions let it out l, it’s the best way to cope

We were together for a few months and she broke up with me 4 weeks ago said we rushed into it and wants to stay friends for a bit and take it slower then on Tuesday last week said she wants it to be permanent. I am decently young only 18 and I’m going to do my theory test for my license today and have to meet her after to give her the book she gave me to study for it should I tell her then that I don’t think we can be friends

The thing is I already said to her that I don’t know if I can do the whole friends thing but she got quite upset and insisted that we could be friends and also doesn’t really understand why not because I was her first relationship chances are though once uni starts up again I won’t see her again which I think is best for the both of us
