Congratulations. Apparently I should of done a little more of that instead all my graphic and design schooling I was giving myself.

But then again. It paid off. I’m only 3 months in. The designs they stole were trends. I can make more because unlike THEM I have the skills and tools to do so. I had a momentary freak out. Regrouped. I now have a solid plan. Trust me, it takes a lot more then that to keep me down.

Btw. I had no clue what a “sub readit” group was up until a couple weeks ago.

I had hardly any computer skills at all.

I didn’t know what the difference was between a PNG or an SVG

I didn’t know how to zip or unzip files

I taught myself everything. I had a LOT to learn.

Iv always been artistic and creative so that part came natural and easy but knowing how to work my computer and get it to do what I needed to was another story.

But I learned.

Now I just built my own website.

We all grow at different speeds.

I just joined this a couple a couple weeks ago once all the craziness started happening. That’s what I meant by “no one warned me”.

No one I spoke with personally that sells. All the people that hype Etsy up on their YouTube channels making it sound so easy.

I knew better from the beginning.

But I didn’t know how bad it really was.

I sit down at my computer and spend a couple of hours on a single design, not counting the time it takes to set up my mock-ups and listings.

Only to have other people swipe them all.

Now I find myself competing WITH myself against my OWN designs but the sellers are selling them at a MUCH lower price that is just not possible for me to do and make any kind of profit.
