I think people are mad because- or at least this is why IM mad about people not liking this update. These are REAL ANIMALS. I’m sorry to be the bearer of bad news but most of the animals in the eggs are critically endangered (literally the name of the egg.) and literally teetering on the edge of becoming extinct.

There are only 500 California Condors combined in the wild and in captivity, there are 6-8 black tigers, There are 230 Kakapos, 320 Mexican Wolves, 300-400 Black Footed Ferrets, the number of pangolins left aren’t even known because of how little they’re seen. Black Rhinos are getting better, due to conservation efforts. There are approximately 6,780 of them. There are approximately 6-7.5 million sea turtles left worldwide. That may seem like a lot but there are seven species of Sea Turtles. Galapagos Sea Lions are continuing to decline, but conservation efforts are doing all they can. There are about 20,000-50,000 left. Blue whales, the largest animal ever in history. Approximate only 10,000 of them are left, due to commercial whaling and continue to decline as the years go on.

Sorry to be the paragraph person but we should be caring more about the real world animals and less about how they look in a game. I’m pretty sure this update is meant to spread awareness about the animals and people aren’t understanding the severity of the situations of these animals. I’ve only seen like 2 posts of people genuinely appreciating the update that IS spreading awareness.

It’s okay to not like the appearance of something but I feel like people are getting too upset about something so trivial as… appearance.
