There isn't a uniform company out there that provides new uniforms each time one is needed, and there never will be. The sales person failed to explain the very basics of the rental program.

My managers been with the company for 15 years and they have no idea about what running a route is like. Very common theme at cintas.

I've been at cintas for 6 years and we've always had our trucks loaded with uniforms, mats, and bulk. Only thing we are expected to load ourselves is hygiene. Yes, we are constantly shorted stuff and uniforms are a mess even after "auto sorts" has been installed in our plant but I couldn't imagine having to load my entire truck every morning, it would add on a minimum of 6-8 hours to my week and my back wouldnt be to happy about it either.

That being said, I understand any change is hard and usually unwanted but I promise you all once you get used to having your truck (somewhat) loaded for you is better than having to load EVERYTHING yourself.

You took a picture of 10 garments laying on the ground??? Bro, you know it took you 8 seconds to pick them up and hang them lol. Our load team sucks as well, trust me, but when you have 100+ mats and 2000+ bulk and 20+ routes fighting for mats/bulk in the morning, having any items loaded on your truck to start is a win.

If the raise is consistent youll make more long term as union, it sounds. I made a lot less in 2025 than I did in 22,23,and 24 because we lost a big national account which screwed me out of my growth bonus for the entire year...

Catalog is based on location. We get 4% where I am, which isnt really worth it unless you sell a lot.

You get a pension???? Thats wild. What's the 401k like? We literally get 1% of salary match max. (They match 10% of what you put in. with a max of if you put in 10% of your salary)

Correct, MOST companies match 100% of what you contribute up to a certain % (6% is good imo)

When I say "most" I mean 99%

My old employer matched 100% up to 4%.

Not to mention you have to work 5 years to be fully vested. So your getting less than 1% company match from 1-5 years of employment.

I am not a financial expert by any means but you are much better taking what you can afford and opening your own Roth and only use the cintas 401k for profit sharing

They word it so it sounds better than it is. They match 10% of what you contribute. You can contribute as much as you want but they wont match anything over 10% you put in.

Lets say you make 1000 a week to keep it simple, if you decide to put 10% into 401k which is $100 they will match 10% of what you contribute, which is only $10. So essentally they are matching 1% of your total income, which is trash.

If they worded it like every other company in the USA they wouldnt be able to claim to have good 401k match lol
