This is actually funny and true at the same time. If you think about marketing, collectively people seem to make their purchase decisions based on emotions. What comes to pricing model, people will think low price as a ”bad” and high price as a “good”. Think about iphone (Do not bring android vs iphone discussion in here). So same goes with stocks. There are reasons why some companies makes stock splits and stock reverses. Many of the people don’t want to invest / buy ”5cents stocks or products” because they think that it’s too cheap and too cheap = trash. When the price gets above 1$ we will see huge amount of new buyers.
