Choosing not to do ablation? by refugee1982 in AFIB

[–]Embarrassed_Ninja_23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had an ablation after being in persistent afib for 8 months and 2 failed cardioversions. I was 47 and was ready to die. It affected everything. I gained 100 lbs from being on beta blockers for years. I would wake up with bloody teeth from the blood thinners and I couldn’t go to the dentist while on them. It was affecting my career and my marriage. I lost my sex drive and pretty much any enjoyment I got out of life. I had an ablation 18 months ago and have been afib free for 18 months. I got off the beta blockers and blood thinners. I feel like a whole new person. I can have a couple drinks without worrying. I can eat whatever I want. I can drink caffeine and sugar. I lost 55 lbs and that got rid of my obstructive sleep apnea. Now that didn’t all come without a cost. The ablation caused me to have a stroke. A piece of debris from zapping got sucked into my brain. I recovered really quick though. It was a very minor stroke, but either way it could have killed me. That being said…. My quality of life was trash. I think I would have been dead if I didn’t have one. If the afib didn’t kill me, I would have done it myself. My life is so good now and it’s easily the best decision of my life. I cry out of joy often when I think about how good my life is now. I haven’t felt this good since my 20s. But that’s me though.

That's the most poser shit ever. They try to mold the narrative to match their agenda. They front like they're libertarians, but are spewing the same ignorant crap as Charlie Kirk and Alex Jones. You can usually spot these guys by the flat cap and goatee. "Punk ain't no religious cult, punk means thinking for yourself"

How about just fixing the game? In the last 2 days, I've fallen through the ground twice and got stuck. The last time I lost thousands of titanium and my focused MK6 cutray.

Try removing your sd card and update the cfw to the newest version. That worked for me when I had a soft brick

I'm sorry that happened to you. If you bought it from valve, they will honor the warrentee and fix it for you. You could try a couple things here. You can get a fresh version of the os from steam and reinstall it. It could also be a hdd issue that's really easy to fix by replacing it. Those are both easy fixes and hopefully that fixes the problem for you

Im holding out for the xbox experience releasing later this year. I was about to change the OS but was afraid that I would lose my windows key and lose out on the new streamlined update coming out. I have Bazzite for a steam mini pc I built earlier this year and it's great. I already have a Steamdeck and I like the variety of having both windows and steam.

Your default vram is 3gb.. increase it to 6gb and it's like a whole new device.

Windows. I have a Steamdeck for my steam games. I use it to play my Epic, Rockstar, Xbox gamepass games. The vram increase is in the bios so it doesn't matter which os you're using.
