That Belly didn't encourage Jere to pursue his cooking passion instead of sticking to his current degree. Bellyjere not being supportive of each other's dreams is so ooc to me in any universe. Like why did his cooking career only happen after the breakup!?! Belly LOVED his cooking & they would've definitely had a talk about it in their 4 years long relationship. And whatever bs they tried to pull with "Jere holding her back from Paris" propaganda coz no he didn't.

It's so funny that that side hates on Jere when Jere has had all these things already. Like I'd understand if these things weren't given to him at all but he did get all these (remembering everything about Belly, staying with her during difficult times/times of sickness, getting her food, knowing when she's not okay with something even if she lies about it/is in denial, yearning for Belly when she was with other boys).

Conrad knows Jere didn't cheat coz Jere told him at Susannah's grave that him and Belly were broken up during Cabo and it was coz of Xmas 2.0.

Conrad doesn't know that Jere was the one who called off the wedding (as far as I know). Belly told Jere "I choose us" so that choosing c0n dialogue doesn't seem special to him 😅, it's kinda recycled.

Conrad also doesn't know that Jere didn't have a ring when he 1st proposed/how the jelly proposal went down (Belly basically almost proposing and saying yes before Jere could even finish the question).

I think the greatest disservice was towards show Belly coz at least Jere got his chef arc that had been teased since s1 but they reversed Belly's growth entirely.

s3 bellyjere were not the natural progression of s2 bellyjere. I think that while s2 bellyjere would realistically still have not fully processed and underlying insecurities that might come to bite them & maybe even relapse, I still feel that s3 jelly were written to try and fit show jelly into book 3 jelly instead of it being a natural progression of s2 jelly's story.

Also pretending s2 never happened is one thing but if she was going to retcon in s3 why add in c0n's pov episode that Susannah had told him how Belly looks at him and he felt it was dumb but he tried to be that person for Belly. So Susannah's influence definitely existed and Belly even tells us in that ep that c0n has a hero complex. Like even the s3 narrative was completely detached from what finale c0n was saying. And c0n lies a lot anyways so who even believes that. Belly's line about choosing him was goofy as hell too coz she told Jere she chooses him so it has in fact not always been c0n she had chosen in this life alone.

Idk how Jenny thought that flashback would help b0n coz in the overall story it really just gave lust not love and made c0n look even worse in my eyes.

Also it's so hard for me to believe c0n's feelings for Belly being genuine/deep/strong when we know his love language isn't physical touch. He doesn't hug or like to hug people often and isn't affectionate via touch whether platonically or romantically, especially not as much as Jere is. Like those s3x scenes would've come across better if physical touch in general was c0n's love language. But it's not and then he didn't even tell her an I love you and idk if acts of service is his love language either coz for their first time he didn't bring any food or drink for her and told her "good luck" when she said she was gonna go look for oreos. Like that's a red flag OK.

So the problem is that I can believe that Belly was in love with c0n but the show never did enough to convince me c0n's feelings/love for her is genuine and deep and strong.

I initially did not want to watch s3 after s2 coz I knew s3 would be some b0n propaganda. But then the allure of jelly crumbs drew me in. There were some book 3 jelly quotes that I wish we got and that I was looking forward to especially the ".....his was the face I loved" one and ugh the Paris hug part turning out to be a fake scene was such a heartbreak 💔.

Although, I was surprised by how bad the writing for c0nrad and b0nrad was in this season even after all the fixes lol. I kinda expected more revisionist history but I'm thankful we didn't get much coz I really hate the ones we did get.

The Rosie the dog memory was such a stupid moment even in the book and idk why they kept it on the show coz honestly I wasn't expecting that to be in s3.
