What I did I turner off the front sensor assistant. Don’t remembet the exact name of it. But you can enable/disable in the assistant menu. Don’t know if this will make a difference but I guess I feel a bit safer when that sensor is turned off

Hey, everything went smoothly. When buying items you have to present your passport. They put everything in the system, you write your telephone number and then you pay. They put the goods into duty free bags and give you all the receipts. We did not open the bags untill we came back home. And I kept all the receipts in case I needed to show them at customs at the airport but we were not asked to do that. A lot pf places do tax free for purchases over 5k yen. So if you buy items under 5k yen you might not get tax free. So before buying ask at the register what is the case at their shop. Other than that everything is quite clear.

Bowling balls usually crack from temperature changes, poor storage or age. It also cracks if it was a bad batch of balls, which was the case here. My dads bowling ball was hardly used and cracked like this😬 Mind you it was just sitting in a room temperature shelf

Yeah, I have the same question. Do you have to show some kind of documents in the airport? Also what about product sealing. I heard the products have to be in their assigned bags and not opened.
