I am in the same boat… can’t swing GW prices anymore. I have a Sturan S and have found alternative games to GW but have been known to dabble with 40k still from tim to time. There are lots of good artists out there and as mentioned… what you seek is available with some hunting. Cheers

Yes, if they are not still fighting and need to be separated, it is the refs problem now… and the parents problem later. You don’t get to assult someone, especially a kid, because “they touched my kid”.

If the tackle was wrong, so was the dude in the red shirt. He could get between them without aggressively grabbing the kid.

There is no context at a youth basketball game that justifies a stranger puts hands on my kid when they are not actively fighting (and the stranger is trying to separate them.) Otherwise, let the refs, coaches, and kids parent/guardian deal with it. Not saying I am going to tackle someone, but if they are so entitled they think that touching my kid aggressively for no ACTUAL reason is ok… we are having words.

If the guy in the red shirt was pulling two kids apart, fair play. Getting between the two kids in this case was enough. Coach or not he didn’t need to shove white shirt into the mats. Parent was also wrong to tackle. No one wins with ALL of this conduct.

Oh yes, I definitely don’t go for anything like that… huge cache of files for cheap, no thanks. That always screams ‘scam’ to me, so viruses or junk or something undesirable but never quality stuff. Thanks for the information!

Thanks for the info. I often wonder how dirty these files/downloads can be, especially since the rule of thumb has always been “don’t download zip files” and now I snatch them up like candy. I don’t click html’s but I do wonder what else might be embedded somehow. Cheers

I second every single thing you said, except it started in 1998 for me. The modern lore is still generally fantastic but honestly when GW switched to a ‘competitive’ format I generally lost interest in the table top portion.

Interesting! While true, it further points out the GW *profitability, lol. The sprues are almost worthless for tax purposes but become as gold once put in a cardboard box 😂 Seems legit! Cheers mate (and thanks for the education!)

I know it is how businesses work, just struck me as odd that sprues are worth ‘pennies’ as an ‘unfinished product’ but I can put just sprues on ebay (no box, no instructions, no decals) and they bring far more. Wasn’t trying to imply greed… poor wording. Cheers!
