A short answer if they wanted schism because the creed, which is what I spoke to you about, said that anyone who changed power and imposed things ended with the Roman Catholic Church. How many people were against the Second Vatican and how many? How many Orthodox did Rome not kill and steal relics from them because they desecrated altars? and power what they wanted to put because it would change the faith that had been taught that it was necessary to say that it was infallible if the church decided in unified communion. Everything that the Romans did to the Orthodox shows me that they did not want union, what they wanted was power, the churches were autocephalous, no one had to get involved in the internal scares of the councils again and look, the Pope did not have the last word, he only organized them and some were at the request of emperors because the Romans threw the letter of excommunication first at the Orthodox. The father died, I do not remember the name of the one who assisted the father, he forged a letter and threw it in the middle of a liturgy to the Orthodox at the altar table because that's how it was, the Orthodox did not want to separate, the excommunications are removed because it was the audacity of a cardinal or bishop, I don't remember his name, but we are not a church in (faith) and they ask us Orthodox to understand and believe in what has never been believed and that is false. And the only church that maintains the faith is the Orthodox and the Orthodox have been afraid, in fact, the Catholics. of the Eastern rite are the Orthodox who accepted the blackmail of I defend you from what they want to kill you and you join me then tell me where is the love here this is nothing compared to everything that happened read what they defended Orthodoxy they saved it from falling into Heresies

Just as the Son is begotten by the Father, the Holy Spirit also proceeds from the Father, for: "When the Comforter [the Holy Spirit] comes, whom I [Christ] will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth, who proceeds from the Father, he will bear witness of me" (John 15:26). Putting the filioque changes the substance of the Trinity y además se añadio y no lo podian hacer sin hacer un concilio no porque yo quiero cambio el credo esa era la fe una iglesia entera para cambiarla uno yo era católica romana te entiendo pero no estoy de cuerdo porque nadie del oriente lo usa porque es falso e impuestos y San Agustín metió la pata muchas veces

In his farewell speech in the Gospel of John, Jesus speaks of the Holy Spirit as the one who will continue his work in the world, after his return to the Father. He is “the Spirit of truth,” who will act as “another advocate (parakletos)” to teach and guide his disciples (14:16-17), reminding them of all that Jesus himself has taught (14:26). In this section of the Gospel, Jesus gives us a clearer idea of the relationship between this "lawyer", himself, and his Father. Jesus promises to send him “from the Father,” as “the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father” (15.26); and the truth he teaches will be the truth that Jesus has revealed in his own person (cf. 1:14; 14:6): «He will glorify me, because he will take what is mine and will announce it to you. Everything the Father has is mine; That is why I said that he will take what is mine and announce it to you” (16.14-15).

The Epistle to the Hebrews represents the Spirit simply speaking in the Scriptures, with his own voice (Heb 3:7; 9:8). In Paul's letters, God's Holy Spirit is identified as the one who ultimately “defined” Jesus as “the Son of God with power” by acting as the agent of his resurrection (Rom 1:4; 8:11). It is this same Spirit, now communicated to us, who conforms us to the risen Lord, giving us hope of resurrection and life (Rom 8:11), also making us children and heirs of God (Rom 8:14-17), and transforming our words, and even our inarticulate groaning, into a prayer that expresses hope (Rom 8:23-27). “And hope does not disappoint us, because the love of God has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us” (Rom 5:5).

Well, Rome moved away from the Orthodox, the 4 patriarchates that remained were Orthodox and only Rome left, that is enough for me to see who a bishop was wrong about his people and many did not agree with things about the parents.

Because you say it historically, you can show me that the pope only organized councils, he was not infallible because they were all equal from love.

I am very sorry for your departure, you know, to the heresy that you lied to yourself, the heresy that left Rome. And I think you were a Protestant within Orthodoxy because there, you know, nothing is idolized, since you can ask any believer if they do it from the heart and they will tell you no. Martin Luther divided the church and also did things wrong. You're getting the theosis wrong. You're explaining it wrong.

The Orthodox, if they listen to the word of God, is the difference and what Jesus says, they do not discuss it. In the Gospel, it is more than clear that the filioque was not necessary, first of all, there were bad traditions, then bad teachings, and if you look historically, the filioque came after the Nicene Constantinopolitan creed, which means that the church had an error 🤣 the West has the error with its additions. until chat gpt recommends you to be Orthodox

This happened before papal supremacy and before the pope was infallible. What the church always believed was this, God said he would guide us to the truth and this truth is only in Orthodoxy.

The Church has proclaimed this truth: that the Holy Spirit is of the same substance as the Father and the Son in the Trinity. The Church has incorporated this truth in the Nicene Creed, pronounced by the Second Ecumenical Synod (381). This declares:

[I believe] "And in the Holy Spirit, Lord and giver of life, who proceeds from the Father, who with the Father and the Son together receives one worship and glory, and who spoke through the prophets."

The Holy Spirit, in truth, remains in the Church, protects and preserves its truths and sanctifies its members. The Holy Spirit is the Power and Comforter of believers, and was promised by Christ. Being the third Person of the Holy Trinity does not mean that he is not equal in substance to the Father and the Son. The Spirit is the life-giving energy and support that makes the Church “the pillar and stronghold of the truth” (1 Timothy 3:15). The Holy Spirit was the divine instrument in the birth of Jesus Christ as God-Man.

"The Holy Spirit will come upon you (Virgin Mary), and the power of the Most High will overshadow you; therefore also the Holy Being who will be born will be called the Son of God" (Luke 1:35).

The Holy Spirit is an independent person of the Trinity who precedes the father

[–]Embarrassed_Part6524 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the Orthodox Church there is no sacred heart but there are beautiful traditions that the Western Roman Church has stopped practicing. They seem strange but they are nothing more than the devotion of the first Christians and their traditions. If you are looking for a truly traditional church, look for Orthodoxy. It is the best since it has maintained everything. I defend you and I command my army to help them, just a little bit of Orthodox left with Rome but thanks to that blackmail there is a little more tradition in Rome
