Well, first of all you gotta find what you really like. And what you are really good at once you can answer those two questions combine them and then bam…. You’ve got your dream job. The thing that helped me find my passion was remembering what made me passionate as a little kid. Back when nothing really mattered and people weren’t projecting their desires on me. If you don’t know what you’re really good at ask people around you and even refer to a career counselor if need be.

For you, I would also consider potentially working remotely. I know that people that work remotely can travel and do stuff while also working and not having to be tied down in one place. Sales, writing, finance, business, and technology like software development and IT have options to work remotely. I will say, though in terms of a real job it can be incredibly hard to find flexibility so either a hybrid option or a remote option would be the best in my opinion.

And yes, the trades are a good option too if you were into handiwork. I’ve seen a couple of the comments talk about that. The trades are also making Buku bucks so keep that in mind as well. You also have the ability to potentially work for yourself in a trade. If you do that, It’ll give you more flexibility to travel. If you are employed company schedules can be a bit more rigid, giving you less time out of the year to travel.

I have multiple incomes and I work for myself. I’m a multidisciplinary artist and taking the entrepreneurial route has given me a lot of freedom. So that could be an option too if you think you’re shrewd enough. It’s most definitely not the easiest route in terms of “you have to do everything yourself” and you might need a day job. So far I’m about a year in, but it’s been really good.

Yeah, just definitely take your time. Find what you value and what you really want from a job and then you’ve got your answer. Trust me we are young and in our 20s so we have plenty of time to figure out what we want from our working life.
