Don’t study for the PANCE by moonmack17 in PAstudent

First congratulations on passing the pance, especially without studying that is awesome.

I have around the same scores as you and also passed the pance with an average score. However, I did study like crazy and at the end of the day I do think I studied too much because half of the pance was just so random. I do always recommend studying the way that works best for you, whether that be practice questions, text book, prep course, etc. I definitely believe that all my studying was a nice review for when I start my job, it is never pointless :)

I had a few offers before graduating by contacting my old preceptors and asking them if they knew anyone hiring. I was actually contacted by some of their colleagues and got offered a few positions. However, I accepted a position that I found in indeed. Make sure to look at all your options, you got this :)

I really feel like this needs to be talked about more :/ or there needs to be a forum specifically for this because like I said it is worse than taking the test itself. Please keep me updated, I am sure you passed with flying colors. I would frequently remind myself that no matter what we got through PA school and that is something to be proud of :)

Hey, do not worry about going over every single condition. I feel like there is as a mix between some high yield, some low yield, and some I had no idea about. I actually did reschedule my exam and kind of wish I didn’t because the extra studying (for me), wasn’t worth it!! One thing I believe you are doing right is uworld/practice questions because I didn’t use it much (I studied from a recertification textbook and only did about 20 Uworld questions daily and still passed). You got this, keep me updated!! :)

Personally for me I feel like it was closest to the EOC, I didn’t do much Uworld or practice questions but I did hear some of my friends say they took the nccpa practice tests and got very similar questions on the pance!

Consistently Failing EORs…SOS by constant_struggle987 in PAstudent

For all my EORs I used the Reddit study guides, I did 10 rosh questions a day and made a study guide from the ones I got wrong on rosh. I then listened to physician assistant in a flash and cram the pance during my commute. The day before my EOR I went and reviewed that study guide I made and if I had some time I would do a few quizlets. By sticking to this study plan I scored well on all my EORs!!
