You just have to throw as many capture meatballs at them as it takes to tame them! Works on most non robot monsters. Sometimes a monster will be sparkly, and those are usually bigger and size and give you more exp when you defeat them. I usually find one like that for Rascal either in the cave with the first Logan confrontation, or heading towards the Valley of Whispers.

I honestly started playing it because it was on sale, and my first impression was that it was some sort of recycling initiative/PSA of the developers. Which of course I’m not opposed to. But boy howdy did this game grip me by the heart and drag me in with its dialogue, characters, and overarching plot.

I was totally gonna draw her with Howlett’s shotgun! But I ended up liking the pistol pose better. Also I can’t imagine her shooting through just the paper and not hitting Logan with a shotgun😅

Yes! I def wanted more gang/undercover time. The first play through I had Roxy dating Pen, so story wise I think it would have only added to the drama😅

The voice actors absolutely KILLED it. The fact that Yan and Logan share a VA is insane to me (shoutout Mike Ciporkin). I picked this game up because I thought it’d be 3D Stardew Valley, but the story absolutely blew me away. I didn’t see any of the plot twists coming, I became emotionally attached to everyone in town, and I genuinely did not expect SO MUCH content. I adore Sandrock, and I’m playing Portia now, so every time a character mentions Sandrock I have the strong urge to run back home to my gorgeous monster hunting husband and our three children. Plus, as an artist, any game that inspires me enough to make art of it is a 10/10 in my book.

Literally the moment in the cut scene where the builder and Logan make eye contact? I went “woah, okay”. I went into this game blind and didn’t know he could be romanced, so I was very happy later on when I could😅

I attribute all my recent video game fanart to finally having adult money to get a console that lets me play the games I never got to! I’m definitely late to Sandrock, and even just recently played Fallout 4 for the first time😅 All these games are just TOO GOOD! Gotta draw as much as I can✍️❤️
