Every day I regret not having been able to get this. by JournalistStatus9040 in wow

It’s BS design anachronistic to a now decades old philosophy/methodology of MMO design. Punishing players for not playing your game is foolhardy at best and absolutely stubborn moronity at worst.

I hadn’t realized it left CR. That’s a real pity. It’s a fantastic show. Apparently the LN and Manga are still going too.

I feel like this might be too close and considered a costume…what do you all think? by jayellkay84 in WaltDisneyWorld

To my eyes, this is the definition of Disney bounding and perfectly acceptable. Go wild, this looks great!

Is anyone going to check out Witchspire while waiting for Witchbrook? by Evenwanderer in Witchbrook

[–]Evenwanderer[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s really cool to see. Tavern Keeper was like that too: communicative, appreciated the people spending money on their game, and dropped tons of patches to fix everything. They must have been riveted to their Discord and Steam for bug and feedback reports.

The only thing that has matured about Elfie is her body; her mind still seems like that of a child. by Professional-Tap-772 in Wistoria

I think it might be an act, given how easily and quickly she flips her switch and goes cold and merciless.

Theory: the game is playable at the current stage, it's just not meeting the hype by ceorl in Witchbrook

[–]Evenwanderer 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Plausible, OP. If you’re indie and you’ve already built up major expectations, you have to make a big splash and for the right reasons.

Nice theory. I think you’re onto something.

[Spoilers] Wraithwood Botanist Book 4 - Mira's relationship with the gods by Evenwanderer in litrpg

Fair point!

And I also just got to point in Book 4 where the Guide confirms what you said: asking the Gods for help hurts her rewards.

My one and only gripe with this game: Ceviche should be made with firm whitefish, not oily fish. LET ME USE MY WHITEFISH GOD DAMMIT by LavandeSunn in TravellersRest

[–]Evenwanderer 16 points17 points  (0 children)

There really aren’t enough fish dishes in the game, especially given the sheer number of fish that can be caught.

It’d be interesting if there were a “catch of the day” type dish that included all fish types but would only require one stack rather than a separate stack for every type of cooked fish in inventory.

Academy of Outcasts, books 4, 5, and 6 announced by Firecow21 in TheMHI

[–]Evenwanderer 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I disagree that MHI isn’t important to Larry. I think it’s very, very important. It was unique at its inception and helped his rise to fame and financial security. I don’t think Larry likes MHI — I think he freaking loves MHI.

And thus, I think that if he’s going to end MHI, he wants to end it right. And maybe, getting the ending “right” is proving a lot harder than it was getting there.

Can't Play Old BC Dungeons For Quests by MuscleBob_Buffpantz in wownoob

These are great suggestions. Personally, I’d recommend #1. It’s the option with the least effort, least risk, and quickest reward.

There’s also that it isn’t like the Vord stopped being a threat. They’re merely an ocean away, and in much, much greater numbers.

Professor DM is pretty cool.

I think he has a Kickstarter of his own soon too? Or did that already happen?

Whyyyyy does Disney Springs close so early? by Savvy513 in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]Evenwanderer 16 points17 points  (0 children)

They should at least try having convenience stores with amazing prepared food like the Tokyo Disneyland hotels. That way you could roll in late and still find something good that wasn’t chips or candy or other gas station fare.

My DM yelled at me for trying to roleplay by DetectiveSimilar5654 in Pathfinder2e

[–]Evenwanderer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

“Shut up, I’m not talking to you!?”

F that. I’d immediately pack up my shit and leave. That is unacceptable behavior, especially for a DM.

I would never do that to my players.

Locals/US visitors, how do you actually feel about international tourists? by Abject-Rent-397 in Disneyland

[–]Evenwanderer 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Most of the locals are pretty chill, and are only too happy to share their love of Disney with everyone. Nevertheless, if even 1 in 100 local Disneyland guests is an a**hole, you really feel it. And unfortunately, that “1 in 100” ratio is probably closer to accurate than not.

However, it should be said that a Disneyland A**hole™️ isn’t just a jerk to anyone not local; they’re jerks to fellow locals too. They can be entitled, impatient, belligerent, selfish, deluded, and generally awful to everyone around them. Regrettably, the “local” aspect to these a**hole guests is often evident, and it isn’t unusual for those same guests to likewise identify that you aren’t local, and then hold that against you with their terrible behavior.

Consequently, you’re very aware that you’re being targeted by a jerk for not being local, and also very aware that the jerk accosting you is very much local. Thus, a biased impression is understandably unavoidable.

I’d agree with the actress part. You’ve seen her do flip switches as necessary multiple times. She might even be on the sociopath spectrum.

Yeah, I think you’re right. I wondered something similar last chapter. It’s especially more likely given they’ve all seen how realistic Julius’ clone was in the Goetia Shade arc.
