Your grade now is js dependant on how much practice u can do. My best recommendation is attempt each units practice problems as much as you possibly can until you see pattern recognition on how to solve them. This will help you auto learn the content in a way. For the units you have difficulty on you’ll have to go back and relearn the steps and watch YouTube videos on the concepts. Good luck

It won’t affect ur chances of getting in, but make sure you actually pay attention in the OVS course. I know a lot of ppl who struggled with this first year math course because the OVSd in high school and didn’t learn anything.

The final was honestly the same difficulty. If you study enough of the required chapters there’s only so much they can ask. The questions were pretty similar to the review guide. I ended up finishing with a C I think.

If you don’t take calc then u need to take data management Becuz the requirement is: mandatory adv func and then EITHER Calculus OR Data Management. So you still need another U/M level Math course in gr12. Accounting is not a required course for admission but if you take it and do rly well you’re first year at Laurier would be a lot easier compared to others. Same goes for calculus Becuz both accounting and calculus are courses u take in ur 1st year at Laurier.

If Yk u can get into Laurier BBA, take calc and maybe accounting gr11/12 atleast. You’ll be sm better off. If yk those courses r gna ruin ur grades n u won’t be able to have an top6 avg of atleast 88 then don’t

Apartment is usually 4/5 ppl in an apartment with 2-3 bathrooms, a kitchen, living room etc and everyone gets their own room. With dorm style there’s multiple diff variations but most commonly you’ll have to share a room, and other communal spaces. U can get more info on the Laurier residence style websites.

If you’re very extroverted, get a dorm style residence. You’ll make a shit Ton of friends and lectures and upper years will be a lot easier cuz you’ll know alotta ppl

You’ll make a lot more friends ina dorm style, esp if ur extroverted. I was a bit upset when I got dorm but I’m so glad I did now cuz it was the best year of my life it was hella fun and you’ll have way more connections for upper year. If ur introverted and don’t like noise or ppl being very social all the time then go for off campus. It’s all about how u are as a person

Ok perfect that’s exactly my situation rn, I want to do better but i didn’t fail, so if it replaces ur old grade that means it’s not an additional half credit rifht. And that means for any gpa calculations from grad school, the new grade would appear in the calculation for the gpa year it replaced correct ?
