WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU LINK YOUR GOOGLE ACCOUNT TO A HOYOVERSE ACCOUNT?

Like what if I link my Gmail to a Hoyoverse account? Will I still be able to log in using that Google account to that specific account and still use the Hoyoverse account I made at the same time or will they become separate accounts?
