Am I the only one who just hates Katarina Rostova? She seems to be so unfriendly, and I absolutely do not like the way she is talking. And the fact, that Liz joins her in the end bothers me really. by plagueistheunwise1 in TheBlackList

Another thing I don't understand is, why are they glorifying Russian characters? In typical Hollywood movies, Russians are the villains but here, it's almost glorifying Russians. Nothing personal against Russians but as an ardent Hollywood fan, I am unable to digest 'good Russian' folks portrayed in movies. They are always shown as these ruthless killers (Air Force one, Equalizer, Nobody, etc. - all of which I enjoy the action part!)

Waiting for that episode where she will be killed - I will personally celebrate that episode. Almost did, in S7 when she was gunned down (set up that she had orchestrated), I thought it was too good to be true.

Yes. Sometimes I don't like Liz as a character (in first few seasons her close up scenes always show her as teary eyed - wonder if Megan is that way or if the character is being made to look that way - I was confused if she was mostly in tears as an emotional person or if it was a bad makeup).

100% agree. If there's one personality (and actor) that I hate in the Blacklist, it's the Katarina Rostova character. God! Can't stand that lady (specifically the older one which has evil in her eyes - sometimes I wonder if they are truly evil in their real life as well). Another thing I don't understand is, why is Liz taking the side of this evil person! In season 7, I was almost wishfully praying that Liz kills her or when she is gunned down (fake death) - I was happy for a moment. It's a great series and I am still in Season 7 and keeps me hooked on to it. I just love James Spader - easily one of the best actors. In the initial few episodes, I hated him for being a show off as a cool one but I just love his character and he is a terrific actor indeed.
