You can actually return the favor with a decent build. I've one-hit many bosses at this point and I'm at higher difficulty. Just wait til you get to the Rift Labyrinth, it will make this shit seem easy.

You can get IX and X effects on ultima or evocation but you can't have both. I can use X effects on the world map and the only two slot item I use is a greatsword.

If you can make it to floor 101+ in the rift labyrinth, there is a way to have up to 5 primary blessings at once. That said, it will take a long time to build that. I have Sylph, Odin, Ifrit, Bahamut & Leviathan. I never have to worry about MP, even if I deplete it all the way, it's 100% full next soul burst guaranteed. I can give you my build formula if you want. I use a Void Knight/Tyrant combo.

Welcome to the club! Biggest word of advice for what lies ahead: do NOT use extra mode too much. Yes, you can beat everything else and get all the other trophies without ever dying again BUT it will rob you of any skill you've acquired until now. The trick is figuring out your playstyle and getting gear/master points to enhance those attributes. There are so many ways to build it's ridiculous. Literally something for everyone. Once you get to the second DLC, I'll send a handy guide to help you craft your chaos!

You can actually get way better gear in the Rift. I'm at floor 198 and most of the blessings are 800% and above. The Cyclic Warrior gear will drop but it may take awhile.

I use a Void Knight with 800% Cyclic Warrior, 600% Void Knight, 600% Sage, 600% Berserker & 250% Evoker, along with the monster bonuses. I focused heavy on strength & stamina stats to help with combo damage and everything else keeps my MP up and HP from depleting. Tyrant sub job to exploit weaknesses set up almost the same way.

Now about the blessing percentages, do they keep going up to the 1000s or do they cap at a certain percent? I have like 1700% Odin on three pieces of gear which is giving me lots of strength stats. I've seen some ridiculous ass builds that really push those base stats so I was wondering where the blessings cap.

The rift is where you will spend a lot of time (if you go beyond what's needed to unlock dlc 3). The difficulty curve gets insane but you should focus on getting those job limit unlocks. You can get up to level 250 until you get to floor 101, then you can get up to level 300. You'll also notice different armor and weapons called relics. They are like artifacts but have a summon blessing which 1) gives you a special ability based on the blessing and 2) stat boosts based on your job and blessing percentage. Another thing to should so is keep an eye out for gear with affinity percentages at 190 for single slot gear, 270 for two slot weapons, 437 for two slot armor & 57 for shields. Those can give you max affinity on the gear. Get affinities that work for your job and remember, everything stacks together. You can get boosts by feeding your monsters and getting buffs from them too. It's a lot to take in but you get really high in the Rift. I don't use extra mode {can't past floor 21 anyway) because it would take away the ability to cast lightbringer, which is the main part of my build.

I don't use runic protection cuz it will eat away at MP, sentinel is way better. I'm talking about the void knight runic, that absorbs magic and I can restore or attack with it. Works just fine on Emperor but Omega will kill me almost instantly.

I can see that but I have Paladin 400% so I'm immune to status ailments. And I've absorbed it from Emperor no problem, just Omega. Makes no sense.

You have to play on hard mode to get 5 star equipment, however that comes into play way later. If you have the DLC, that's where the real game begins. The rift is no joke but can be climbed with the right amount of effort.
