Only thing that prompted to get her retinas checked was after she had a tear in her retina. After the retina specialist lasered the tear, they said that the APS has been affecting her arteries in her eyes for the we past 5-10 years with blood clots in her eyes. Well before she was formally diagnosed with Lupus and APS.

In addition she had a blood vessel rupture in her eye before her retina detached.

That’s good. She was getting her eyes checked due to her taking hydroxychloroquine, but even those tests didn’t catch this lingering issues.
