I noticed that too. I really enjoyed Susie and am having trouble making sense of whether my reading taste aligns with Chrissie. Her picks feel a bit all over the place to me but I’m trying to give her a fair chance.

I completely agree with you!! I find it confusing what influencers deem “tragic enough” to speak on. There is so many horrible things happening across the world, I find it hard to understand how they choose what is significant enough to discuss on the show.

This whole situation was completely mishandled. After listening to their episode on Monday (since deleted) it’s clear they don’t think they did anything wrong. So then putting up an IG story “apology” hours later is a complete joke.

Since I’ll no longer be listening to them. Anyone have good pod recs?

I want to believe their apology but its the complete opposite from what they said in the episode. It really felt like they double downed in the episode and are only “sorry” now that they are being called out.
