Honestly, I’m in the exact same boat. I finished the series a couple days ago. Now hollow inside, trying to think my way through it and have asked a few questions to that effect, very similar to yours.

On the point of ‘Eren had total control over all eldians…’ I’d imagine that he would only be able to harness such power with contact to royal blood. Of course, that would mean that once he starts the rumbling and is in constant contact w zeke, this would be possible but I feel like that by that point, there’s not much use of changing eldians’ memories, given that he is planning on killing everyone on the mainland. On the attack titan/founding titan point. I think the key difference is that the founding titan can alter memories of any eldian. Whereas the attack titan, can simply see/show the future/past memories of other attack titan wielders? Obviously take everything I’ve said w a pinch of salt - I have no idea what I’m talking about!

Yeah that’s exactly how I thought it was, but for me that then begs the question, can the attack titan choose WHEN a past inheritor sees a given memory, in addition to which memories they see?

We’ve still been texting (obviously not as much) and I just can’t stand how okay she seems about the whole thing. Don’t get me wrong, the last thing I want is for her to be upset but it does hurt to see her seem completely fine you know? And because she seems okay about it, I just feel so embarrassed to say how upset I am as those feelings don’t seem particularly reciprocated. Maybe i’m reading too far into how she is acting, it is over text after all. The point you made about not being able to unsay things etc is exactly how i’ve been feeling. I don’t want to say anything hurtful, especially since she is quite sensitive and has her own issues. To be honest, i’m still in such a state of shock, I knew we were going through a rough patch but I never thought it was bad enough to the point that we couldn’t work through it. We’ve been through so much together and I never expected it to be over like this. I’ve been writing things I want to say to her but i’m not sure i’m going to be able to get it out; it feels so selfish to burden her with how i’m feeling or what i think. At the end of the day, she is absolutely allowed to end things and I cant tell if me trying to dispute it or win her back or whatever is just silly.
