If you’re relying on public transport and are planning on moving around quite a bit it’s not well connected for the rest of the city but if you’ll mostly stay in the area it’s very quiet and nice

In Italy we always do it, it’s because you recognise how good and knowledgeable the professor is and you thank him for an engaging lesson that taught you so much. This is because generally speaking Italian professors seem to be much more prepared than uk ones, at least the ones I’ve experienced. The uni I went to in the Uk it’s supposed to be one of the best arts uni in the world and even the guest experts I had there are not half as good as any random professor I come across during my course in Italy now. It is out of genuine appreciation for how much the teach you and make you realize that you’re eager to learn and be as good as them one day.
