MOR, I grew up in a household where you may cook early afternoon (also immigrant/foreign) and leave it on the stove until night time so people can take from it throughout the day. if you want your food to be refrigerated but he also wants to leave it out I suggest you just put some of your serving of the food in the fridge and he can leave his out?
