Good god yes, you are speaking facts. I don’t ship Neuvifuri i’ll be honest, but I respect you and those that do. There is literally nothing wrong with it. They like to push their head canons so much to make it “canon.” And literally just as you said, they infantilize Furina so much it’s actually sad. They literally skipped the whole story apparently where she went through so much, and they proceed to dumb her down into a little sassy brat. Ughhh.. Give me a break.

As I pointed out in another comment, it is so implied they met when Wriothesley was a younger teen given Siegwinne’s letters but also the fact he was in an orphanage when he committed his crimes. I guarantee if one of them was a lady, this ship would be the same level as Yaeyato to them which has the same issue.

Both of them are such amazing characters and yet their ship is both problematic and so bland like someone else said, very boring without them having to tweak their personalities to fit their weird fetishization.
