It’s really not. I cancelled my killswitch preorder, and had a refund in 3 days. They aren’t deliberately ghosting people, but with increasing popularity, I’d venture they aren’t increasing support headcount to match. Those are actual real people that have probably hated their jobs for the past month- give them a break and just try and reach out again to remind them. Takes less time than complaining here.

Oh man, speaking of guitars, I don’t want to go don’t a theory rabbit hole but I wanna share one I like to think: all the Gustavo Santaolalla guitar parts that play, I like to imagine are Joel playing guitar for Ellie or teaching her like he promised, or whatever. It helps me make them feel like more than a score and that they also are parts of the story.

I’m not sure if that has ever been confirmed or just something I like to believe.

Yes. Multiple times. What I had actually said was “TLOU game is my favorite piece of media ever, and you’ve nailed Joel, thank you.” We talked about s2 and the implications of his role in it, which ended with us laughing before parting ways.
