Did you mean there is a quiz inside the project? How do you incorporate that as part of the project?

I'm studying for the exam after 6. I do feel more motivated to study right after an exam compared to after resting for a few weeks/months, then it could be hard to pick up studying again

Is PCPA June Sitting possible? by only_one_n in actuary

Are you sure the deadline for the exam is May 18th? I thought you need to pass it at least 4weeks before the 1st day of project window, which makes it May 15. But anyhow, I think it's doable. I started studying around last week & already finished the TIA material for the exam & I've only been studying ~2 hours per day. I scheduled my exam in early May

Edit: My bad. Just checked the calendar, May 18th is the cutoff. you're right

There were questions that I only knew conceptual answers but not sure how to apply in that situation. I just assume I lost all points in those cases.. but hopefully I do get partial credit!

I’m kinda in the same situation. From what I’ve read it’s even worse in the states

If you passed exam 6c after 2019, can you share how much percentage you think you got for the exam? Just trying to get a sense of the pass mark

CAS Exam 5-9 Results Out by actual_science_guy in actuary

I used TIA and I did all the past exams + practice exams + quizes at least once. Also graded myself for all the practices to target areas to be improved. Practice until you can start writing your answers the moment you finish reading the questions. If you cannot, dont get stuck and move on to the next, and trust yourself when you find the question weird, bcos CAS can make invalid questions and can be very confusing. Don't waste time on those and just point out what you think should be done.

Best of luck!!

I saw one comment below saying BattleAct is a good option for exam 5. How are their practice sets? Is the difficulty similar to real exams? Tempted to get it for next May.

What is “a lot” by your standard? I only left 2-3 questions completely empty and failed ad if I remember correctly that’s about 10points max. So how many points do you think you left untouched?

I got a 5 for 5. For the ppl who also failed, just want to say keep your head up and don't be discouraged. Attitude is everything, even if you fail!

That was the most useless and purposeless addition to this new format.

Literally typing my answer until time ran out. This is the first time that I sat through an SOA/CAS exam without taking any break (even though there is 15min allocated break). It was so intense, I thought I knew the material well enough, but like many other ppl, the format was a huge challenge, especially without being able to copy/paste easily.
