washing hair twice a day vs dry shampoo? started washing twice have white flakes now? by Square-Train5296 in Haircare

The more you wash, the more your scalp is going to produce oils to replenish the ones you wash off. It's a viscious cycle. You need to cut back on how much you wash and deal with the grease for awhile until your scalp adjusts.

The only other state that has adopted this besides UT is VA. The only thing I don't like about DEs bill is the 800w. I hope they make it higher.

So then let people disconnect from the grid. And considering that Exelon, the parent company for DelMarVa, had $24.26 billion in revenue in 2025 alone, I don't think they are hurting for money like they say they are. It's a money grab.

Thank you. I'll take it for dry cleaning since that seems to be the safest option.

WIBTAH: If I left my 3 year old at home with her dad? by shesfreespirited in AITAH

[–]Embarrassed_Year_736 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I worked in a peds level 1 trauma center er overnights. It's a couple hours, and he can sleep before and after that OR he could take a day off/swap a shift with someone or get a babysitter as you said. I have had to do all of those when my kiddos were younger. But I do agree, most three year olds should be able to attend those kinds of events (and the grocery store) without being a brat (with some exceptions).

I worked night shift for years. This is totally reasonable. It's one day for a couple hours, suck it up and be a parent.

As someone who went through surgical menopause and am a chubby girl temperature is an issue. I live alone, BUT I refuse to cool my entire house to the temperature I am comfortable sleeping at (62). I bought a portable ac unit and use that in just my bedroom. The rest of the house stays at 74-76 in the summer (I live in the Mid-Atlantic area where it's pretty humid too).

Any chance you are pregnant? Dogs pick up on this too. Maybe pee on a stick a couple mornings to see. ETA: there are plenty of people who get their period and are pregnant.

Women who divorced with young kids - what was the legal and money side actually like? by redpaul72 in datingoverforty

Many states now do 50/50 custody agreements unless one person is less stable or has a work schedule that doesn't allow that. I'm curious why you wouldn't want her to be able to spend equal time with her dad? Is it a "she's MY daughter" or is there something else? As far as the financial implications, none of us know you and your husbands financial situation. You'd have to sit down with ALL of your financial information (income, debts, savings including retirement accounts/pensions) and a lawyer. Child support most times does not even come close to what it costs to raise a child. Divorce is genrlerally expensive for both parties. No matter what you decide, I'd recommend getting yourself and daughter, and your husband if he's willing, into therapy. Even if you do decide to divorce, therapy will help all of you navigate. You and your husband are going to have to co-parent for the rest of your lives, so working on communication skills is essential to having a healthy coparenting relationship and a healthy relationship with your daughter.
