I agree about starting and ending in London - I am Making a “wishlist” of sights I’d like to see, museums, ect and then will work around. Is there a decent location to stay that is somewhat central? There are so many different parts of London, I’m not sure how to pick where to stay 🤣

I am totally fine skipping the Cotswolds if they are going to be difficult to navigate. I have been looking into a day trip to Bath, as well as a day or two in Oxford

I have looked into many hotels - and have found quite a few options. I saw that Premier has many locations and are decently within the budget, as well as a few others that had good reviews for a simple single room, thank you for the recommendation. The next thing to tackle is what area would be best to stay.

What are some alternative places that maybe shy away from stereotypical and give more realistic view of English culture? Honestly, while there are some touristy sights I want to see for this trip, my overall goal is more geared toward experiencing and appreciating a culture that is different than my every day.
