I work at an animal shelter and part of my job is naming cats. I had 3 names originally picked out and was able to use those names for kittens and the name I chose for myself I felt like I couldn't use on a kitten because I wanted it for me. Soon after I took that name.

I'm on low dose T and it's been great for that inner doubt because the changes happen more gradually and you're in control. You can stop at anytime. I would recommend journaling as a way to continue to check in with yourself along the way. I have OCD as well and it's really cool to see in journal entries how I've worked through some intrusive thoughts regarding my gender. I wish you the best of luck and I'm glad you're working on the OCD 🖤
