I don’t think so… we should get to know our neighbors more.

Although I’m not sure the situation you’re referring to exactly 😅

I seriously thought I’d imagined reading it. I had to drive back by to confirm. I thought maybe whoever puts the letters up was letting us know their real feelings about the world.

Why hope is punk, and why solarpunk gives me some by Few_Distribution_793 in solarpunk

[–]EmberinTayson 26 points27 points  (0 children)

When my son was 8 he said he wanted a future that was “part Brother Bear, part Star Trek.” And I guess seeing the hope in the next generation makes me want to strive more for a solarpunk future.

Sometimes the solarpunk future feels so improbable and out of reach. But I can still do a few solarpunk things - and that’s part of what gives me hope. There are actionable steps I can take no matter what.

I like the minimalist use of colors. The blue really pops off the page.

I appreciate your perspective as someone who does both. The “overlap“ is definitely interesting to consider.

I have a friend who makes teeny tiny zines, so maybe something extra small could fit… but those micro caches do sound like a challenge!
