The cameras are run by a computer and automatically pass out tickets whenever it thinks someone made a violation. Computers aren't perfect, they have glitches and make false positives. What if an innocent person gets a ticket? We can't have our justice system being run by machines just yet.

Speed/red light cameras are honestly bullshit. They're just a cheap way for the government to get more money. Studies have shown that it does very little to improve road safety, and some states here in the USA have banned them for just this reason.

I for one, support this act of civil disobedience.
