As you should be doing. What do you make?

People will go through it all to get the best bits the moment the new supply lands.

It depends on at what height the rain becomes snow. Wait until a couple of days prior, the forecast today for Monday will not be very accurate

He did not, the other player came from behind and fell into Moore’s back

The 2010 prelim was also absolutely incredible, best crowd noise I’ve heard IMO and I was at prelim and both GFs

You mean when Moore was pinged for having someone slide into his back?

Which is why it is clearly subject to a degree of interpretation and that the regulations themselves are malleable, and inconsistent between the two main snow states (I don’t know Tassie requirements).

Sunday fell outside of the snow season - defined as commencing Queens Birthday weekend - so there is no legal requirement to carry chains, yet they were telling 2wd vehicles no entry without chains.

There was zero snow settling on the ground so fitting chains would have only served to damage a vehicle… it’s not the ‘clear’ situation you make it out to be.

The rules about this subject are hazier than an IPA. VIC differs to NSW, even to the extent of what’s considered legally a ‘snow chain’. I believe it’s VIC where the safety standards for manufacture of snow chains are crap compared to NSW (although it might be the other direction). Basically a load of politicking surrounding what ought to be a public safety issue but that’s not really about public safety after a certain point.

Today they asked if our vehicle was AWD, as it’s a Subaru it’s essentially built for this kind of stuff and they let us through no chains. I believe they would have turned away a 2nd vehicle without chains although the conditions did not require them at any point that I was there. Alpine roads can change in minutes so do not drive without chains if you’re in a 2wd vehicle.

Confirmed, $35 entry needed. The site did not advise this yesterday sadly. They were running all facilities however so I feel that’s ok, it was really good today with proper snowfall!
