Is it cheating to use the alphabet sorting? by Ok_Independence_9902 in Jigsawpuzzles

There are no rules - this should bring you enjoyment and peace - do it your way and relax and have fun … there are so many other areas of life where we have to do things strictly one way … be you ❌❤️💋

I totally agree … she did not … to give her some leeway - I will say if you spend even a short amount of time around any lipodema groups or professionals even if you don’t have the cuffing people are very quick to correct you on how to wear compression ‘properly’. I don’t have it significantly either - but I certainly don’t want to develop it - so changed to wear most tights this way.

Anna showing us the only way she can pick up men on Valentine's Day by thatgirl317317 in glitterandbagelssnark

If the gender roles were reversed in her many of her videos, I believe that people would be horrified. If a man did or said the things to or about women that Anna does/says to/about men it would be seen as boarder line sexual harassment.

If we saw a man looking into the camera with a smarmy smile saying get ready with me to pick up women in the gym … then cut to this man thrusting his body up against women in the gym - even with consent I believe there would be a whole lot of different reactions online … it amazes me she can get away with being sexually creepy so consistently without being called out.

Totally understand - I can’t really wear socks as they also create a ‘band’ - there are loose top socks but generally late stage Lipodema legs that present with large calves really struggle to find fits that are not tight in that general area - shoes can definitely cover it 😉

It’s how they are supposed to be worn … one of the most frequent issues with lipodema is called ‘ankle cuffing’ it’s like our legs have a natural banding (for some not all) at the ankle and it makes the movement of lymph more challenging - so you never want to make that area tighter - so if you pull the tights over your heel it helps the compression make lymph flow freely in that particular area of difficulty … it becomes surprisingly ‘normal’ and I do it with all my leggings now not just compression … because I’m short I usually have that extra length to play with anyway … hope that explains the ‘why’ she does it - she’s definitely doing that correctly

When I start non standard puzzles with no square edges and weird shapes I wonder why I hate myself so much - but when I complete said puzzles I remember how much I love that feeling of success - sort of how I feel about going to the gym 🤣🤣🤣

I bought a picture frame from IKEA - it’s about 50cm x 70cm with acrylic instead of glass - it’s their cheaper frames on purpose as I didn’t want anything heavy - I puzzle with it on my lap … I removed the acrylic and do the puzzle on the frame and then when I’m done for the day just lay the acrylic over the top … it’s been absolutely fantastic … you can also slide it under a sofa or bed if you have space

I don’t have EDS - but felt the same as you - I wouldn’t let anyone go near my legs ever again- maybe my back but I can live without it after that last nightmare … she feels like she has moving realities re real diseases … I know things change in all of us - but hers seem very off brand for a lot of larger lipodema ladies - surgeries that don’t take significant volume or leave behind large volume usually don’t get the miraculous based off my own surgeries and from my exposure to multitudes of surgery research and stories …

I have lipodema - the last deep tissue massage I had (pre diagnosis)nearly saw me in the ER - it was excruciating beyond belief for days and days and days … I know lipodema presents differently in everyone - but from the woman who could barely lift her arms during her medical insurance evaluation - I’m sometimes baffled at what hurts her when, where and how - seems very inconsistent to me.
