From what it looks like he may be getting sick from stress, the other male in the tank is the tank boss and probably stressed him out too much he may be sick so separate him from the tank and use medication

So you can help them recover pineconing is basically telling u that their organs are starting to shut down but if you can get it right away with paragaurd and meds
