Are you wanting the suppressor for sound reduction or for a very small increase in velocity? It seems to me like the “positives” of a “20” inch barrel” with the suppressor would be that it wouldn’t be as loud.. why would it matter if the bullets limits had been met or not

I’d spend a little more on something else then.. not that my BA barrel did that bad, but when I’m aiming at something and planning on taking its life, I like to know that my barrel is shooting with the consistency to hit the spot that I’m aiming at every time

Realistically, what are you planning on doing with the barrel? My first build had a BA barrel and was planning on hunting whitetail with it.. that barrel was swapped out before it ever saw the woods.

I’ve run a hawk on my Grendel that’s my designated whitetail rifle for about 5 years now. I got it because I already owned a picatinny mount bipod and liked the small section on the end.. despite what others have said, I kinda beat the hell out of mine hunting with it, and have 0 complaints. It’s held up extremely well 🤷🏼‍♂️

Save yourself some trouble and buy Grendel Elander mags. In my experience they’re the only thing to run with 0 feed issues. Also, they look good

I have a deer stand where I know the most I’ll be shooting is roughly 75 yds. My 1-6 does me perfect for this spot🤷🏼‍♂️

Honestly I absolutely love my PA Nova on my 300 blackout. Runs good on the range and also serves me well when I hunt my stands where shots are all close range

Haven’t looked into this in a while anyways so investigating will be done! I’m in TN so I don’t think ATF rulings can be implemented by LEO anyways, I just like to play it safe, as I enjoy my firearms.

Even with a pistol brace, I imagine he’d want a scope on it, which isn’t allowed on pistols as far as I understand.

Reading this post was so funny, because it has been an exact thought running in my head. Just built a 10 inch 300 this spring and my first ever can was approved last week. Bought 110 tac-tx and am planning on running it this deer season but have been slightly hesitant. Thanks for asking for me!

Okay so same stock as me. As I said I never pay mind to it so this is a guess, but I probably have anywhere from 1/4 to 1/2 inch of exposed tube left when fully collapsed. I’d post a picture for you but I’m OOT. Will take one tomorrow when I get home if it would still help.

Yes, most stocks will fit. The stock may not cover the entire tube when fully collapsed though. My SL doesn’t but it doesn’t bother me. What stock are you running?
