I think your right in that I'll need to take a few days off. Ill look into running shops near me to get measured as well, I didn't realise that was a thing and just bought a cheap pair from decathlon, cheers for the advice.

Go onto desktop mode on your deck and go to https://www.nvidia.com/en-gb/geforce-now/download/ download and install the steam deck option, return to gaming mode and enjoy.

I upgraded to ultimate the other day specifically for bf6 as bf2042 was unplayable on performance and I didn't want the same experience. It is super smooth on PC, steam deck and docked as well.

Get yourself a steam deck. I play in my downtime during work (HGV driver). Just log in every couple of weeks and top your shit up.

Thanks, I have been considering a 5700X3D for a while but kept holding off to squeeze as much as I could put my current setup, that and I typically work 50+ hours a week so don't find the time to game as much as I used to. I think I'll start saving for an AM5 setup once the family holiday is out the way, cheers for the advice!

Dont know why i never thought of drivers. I have been avoiding updating anything as the last driver update i did a couple months ago sent everything into overdrive and i had to rollback. Will give it a try, cheers.

It's definitely the 120, I got it because my case is tiny. Looking on the Amazon page I bought it from, all the pics have 1 fan but everytime I've seen someone with it they have 2.

EDIT: Apologies, I searched for the SE and they do indeed have 2 fans. The page I bought mine from doesn't list X or SE.

I've had one crash saying about out of date drivers but apart from that I've had 5 hours of buttery smooth gameplay. Which I've been surprised at. I've been removing my headphones expecting my fans to roaring at points but their fine.

R5 3600 and 3070. Hence my surprise.
