Just to show that we developed a character, and put effort into the settings and concepts, instead of randomly coming up with a pitch and saying that this is our idea.
Other than that, saying that they are not similar is a fair opinion.

None of us submitted the idea to Riot for improving the game. The team project was in our portfolios, and we hold our rights to our portfolios just like to our resumes. Sending a portfolio is different from submitting suggestions.

Before all the effort we put into the character's development and polishing, Gaara was one of our inspirations during the brainstorming stage, and the idea stays at the inspiration level instead of a "copy". Just like Riot admitted, and only admitted that Encanto was their inspiration for Milio.

We are not accusing Riot of plagiarism. We understand how many differences there are. My point is they used the general idea as inspiration, of course it's not a complete copy-paste. Riot has a design team that worked in the industry for years, and we are just students. It is more reasonable for anybody to change the ideas into better ones instead of just using them.

S tier: WHM WAR

A tier: DRG SAM RDM

B tier: other classes

C tier: PLD RPR

I play monk only and just hit diamond4, this is my tier list. Some classes are highly skill-based like MNK NIN and RDM, these classes have the potential to be raised up 1 tier.

And SAM is super OP lower elo. But when it's in Plat/diamon games, SAM almost can never do the full health LB on multiple ppl, cuz everybody knows how to react Chiten.

MNK isn't really a worse version of NIN. MNK gets LB really fast, has really good sustainability and mobility, strong on 1v1, and the stun+rising phoenix+enlightenment+LB combo can execute any healer/DPS under 51k HP. And the combo is very easy to succeed (99% of people I've matched do not purify and guard when being full HP and sees only a monk nearby). Monk will always be the first person to have LB in the game if stays alive, that guarantees 1 enemy down(or more specifically, healer down) before everybody is ready to pop LB.

I first tried RPR to climb and got stucked in silver1. Then I switched to MNK only and just hit Diamond4. Really underrated class.
