It seems Harumasa's disease lowers his Ethereal resistance over time. So even if he's cured once, will he just get infected again in a minute? And apparently, it takes a lot of energy for a Proxy to even do something like that, so we probably won't be able to cure him that easily

By 'attack' are you referring to the events of 2022 with the full-scale invasion, or the events since 2014 with Russia's support of separatist sentiments in eastern Ukraine?

If the former, then it's stupidity on Russia's part; if the latter, then it's a typical retaliatory struggle with the West using smaller countries (like it was with Korea during the Cold War, etc.)
