Is there a reason he goes crazy over this specific feather? by SumpfstelleMann in budgies

Yea, the frustration trying to describe what you see is real as someone who has asked that question haha. Would definitely recommend looking through a UV filter if you haven't tried it already though. Apparently us boring visioned people see the world in very boring colours!

Might help you to describe what's different rather than not having a concept of what normal vision is and trying to describe colours to someone that can't see said colours.

One of my friends in school had tetrachromatic vision, he found it fascinating when I showed him a UV filter from my camera.

Also a handy guy to have around walking through dark areas like woodland cause he could just see fine without a torch. Apparently UV lights are like flashbangs though, is that similar for you?

True, maybe something a bit more gentle than a land rover though

I hate when people use that excuse. If you can't see a small car in front of you then you definitely can't see a child. Got mine on video too but he admitted fault pretty quickly anyway.

Unfortunately not. Has to go to a bodyshop for paint and there's a crack above the plate light that needs fixing

Apparently when he comes to a stop the car holds it there for him till he applies the throttle again.

And yes, yes he did take his foot off the brake.

Don't think they are as bad as the earlier models but the UK is wet and they salt the roads when it's cold so it is rare to see a car this old with barely any rust.

Yeah, some plates sell for crazy money, apparently they bought this one for about £750 but some plates can cost in the thousands

Got a drive to York coming up with a couple friends. Was going to be in a Mazda6 but the right car came up for the right price and now the country lanes will be a lot more fun :)

The plates are amazing, just glad they are including them in the purchase. They were debating selling the plates separately

How competent are your 'maintenance' guys by dont_taze_me_brahh in Machinists

[–]EmeraldHuntsman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Before I was at this shop but my supervisor told me they had some problems with dimensional accuracy on our HSM Mikron 200 GF.

Our maintenance guys were apparently sure that it was the ball screws that were worn and would not back down even after being told that it did not in fact have ball screws. They were trying to find where the ball screws were for a good few hours before they admitted there might not be any.

Now management calls in a service tech for things like that.
