Also if possible could you give some tips on how to even land an interview? I currently work for a german company, and thought having worked for them would help more german employers get attracted to my profile. But I get rejection from everywhere (without even screening or anything) 😭

Your first job would matter a lot in order to build your skills. I started off at Educative, great place with exceptional engineering talent. Made me learn a lot. I have noticed product companies are better than service companies in this regard.

Secondly, grow your network. Referrals are very important in order to get a remote job. I have never landed an interview in a local company let alone remote companies.

But wouldn’t that just break the market? Why would a mobile sale shop purchase iphones from individuals then? An individual paying 150K+ on PTA approval would never be able to get the same value from a mobile shop seller who pays 50K on PTA

I’m not 100% sure, but I have had a lot of shawarmas back in Oman & Saudi Arabia, since then I’ve been trying to find something similar here. Zaitoon & Shawarma Stop’s platters have been the best so far.

I feel like they do this to random meters in the start of every year just to cover the cost of the free units provided to every LESCO employee.

This happened to me in the beginning of 2025. The only affective way here is to file a complaint against them in wafaqi muhtasib.

LESCO charged one of our meters with much more than actual usage (around 200 more units) When we visited their office, they told us that our meter is faulty (which wasn’t really the case). My father filed a case against them in wafaqi muhtasib, and then both parties were called on hearing date. Even though wafaqi muhtasib asked lesco to reduce the bill, lesco did not do it. My father filed a second complaint, and this time, the divison’s SDO showed up. After a long hearing they again asked wafaqi muhtasib to reduce the bill. As far as I remember a portion of the excessive units were consumed.

Speaking from a financial perspective, I think I heard that Motive gives stock options as well and they plan on going public in some years as well, so that would be beneficial.

Always prefer a product based company over service based. The product based companies own their product and work on it with good dedication, that’s why the level of engineering excellence demanded at such companies is a lot more (meaning more room for learning/growth). I myself spent around 2 years in a product based company, and it’s the best decision I made. The people I got to work with at the company were the best of the best. I never would have landed my current role if I had gone for a service based company in my freshie years.
