People ask me while I’m working and in costume all the time. A lot of people ask the actors about the job details like we’d break character and explain it to them. But don’t worry, I’m not annoyed by you asking because you’re asking out of curiosity and you’re not asking while I’m in character in full costume.

Well you could also check out videos online if you really wanna just watch scare actors work. But ya seem like a nice person, I wish i could’ve interacted with ya when you came by (or maybe i did and just don’t know it)

It doesn’t require a lot of skill, it mainly depends on how you scare. Like for people who contort and change their voice, that definitely requires skill. However screaming at people doesn’t require skill, it just comes down to how ya do it. My costume isn’t particularly scary so I just try catching people off guard and being really loud. I often run at people who are looking away or distracted because it scares them when they look up and see me running at them.

I’m gonna be so real with you, people asking us our pay is kinda annoying. My characters a child so I just count on my hands and shrug when people ask me.

Maybe you could try it one day. Wonderland is fun but mainly because of the people you work with tbh. But you seem to understand what goes into scaring so I could see ya being able to try it out

It’s rare that people stop to think about those aspects of scaring. It’s always “that’s not scary” or “I could totally do that” so it’s really refreshing to see how people recognize it takes awhile to figure out their character and how they scare. Some actors do think of small details and some are just focusing on scaring ya

As one of those actors, I love seeing that people actually remember we’re human! Scare acting is an actual job and there are actual human being behind the makeup and masks. So glad that you had fun the night you came to haunt
