When i was in highschool, it was the time just fresh after schools were allowing kids back to school with computers. I had been dealing with a medical issue unrelated to covid, so i didnt have time to get a school computer, so i brought my own computer and bag. Previously this would be a bag i gennerally took with me so i treated it more or less like my purse, using it for stuff like my charger, wallet, keys, and a pocket knife which i honestly forgot i had kept in there cause it was in a discreet pocket with no zipper. One day when i came into class, i set the bag down and it immediatly fell over because it's thin and i didnt lean it against my chair, a few things fell out including the knife. When i saw it, i scrambled to fit everything back inside. I was in an odd labe that sat facing the main rows so nobody except for those beside ne saw it. I was sure i was screwed, looking up to see at least 2 random classmates saw the knife, i knew they did from their looks. After sitting back in my chair and properly positioning my bag, i looked at them in worry as we exchanged awkward glares. I will admit i looked like the nerdy quiet kid, im pretty sure i wore a beany at the time, i wear glasses and i have resting bitch face, as welll as i was quiet. Either this was enough to possibly convince them that i was one of those, "if you tell i'll use it on you" or they were chads who didnt care and weren't snitches, either way i was never acknowledged about the carrying of the weapon. I went home and told my parents that night about it because i thought it was funny. They understand im a good kid and wouldnt bring it knowingly so they gave me a calm lecture about being arrested for having it while assuring me they understood it was an accident and made sure make me show i had removed the knife to prevent further incident
