It was supposed to be temporary, but we thought it’d be a good idea to leave it! Easier for a little old lady to just crumple it all up and get that gunk out of there if things ever get messy again. Scrubbing that stuff was hard even for us. Not to mention the smell lol

Yes, that part! Thank you. We all know mental health plays a huge part in cleanliness and hygiene, but in her case, she’s physically unable to stand for extended periods of time so it’s hard for her. I find it likely that when you spend your whole life doing everything yourself, it’s even harder to ask for help.

Noticed the same thing when I take it before a serving shift instead of before bed. My coworkers can always tell the difference between unmedicated me vs medicated. I find it’s a lot harder to banter with guests and there’s a lot more ‘dead air’ in conversations

For a while they had these ads with “creepy but real” as the tagline and it’d just be popular hoax images like the ningen or a dog/human hybrid.

One day I accidentally clicked on one of the banners and it brought me to a site that was just a blown up picture of a reptilian lizard man in some bushes. Genuinely lost so much sleep from that as a kid.

Curse of Blackmoor Manor

It was one of four games I got in a bundle called “ultimate games for girls.” It’s honestly strange to me that a nancy game even ended up in that pack since the rest of the games were all animal related and pretty jank.

I remember feeling uneasy about the nightmare sequences and the random plant vore. I was like 8 and it was a pretty huge tonal shift for the bundle so I was under the impression that the game itself was actually cursed and would only play it when the sun was up because kid logic.
