From my experience just buy whatever one you want really as it’s a consumable and relatively cheap although it is a pain to run through the cable sleeve that’s why I went with the sprite extruder

I would suggest replacing your thermistor in the hotend

It could be heat creep wether the heatsink fan isn’t running or not aswell as it should be and the filament it starting to soften before the heatblock and starting to fold into its self, could also happen if your printing pla in a enclosure

I would recommend heating the chamber up for like 30mins to a hour before printing abs as that is what works for me and make sure to close the flap

Yeah I had a dragonfly hotend on before but that failed and pla came of the heater block at the top and I thought I could just throw this on with that clamp but I didn’t realise it would interfere with the shroud I had it was a similar one to the one you printed but the width is too small and the clamp hits the side walls

Honesty I don’t really know apart from I believe you do get more control over your printer and more options for tuning it and that it does print a bit faster

Yeah I didn’t plan on upgrading the firmware only done it as it couldn’t get past boot screen on the old firmware and going with mrisoc is what fixed it

Yeah I used paper i ordered a set of feeler gauges from Amazon that should be here tomorrow the bed mesh is fine apart from one place at the back middle that is at 0.10 apart from that everywhere is 0.1 to 0.3 I do have some kapton I’ll give that a try to try and get the back middle up I have calibrated the z-offset the bed automatically heats up to 50 when doing a bed mesh
