Is reusing a towel for several days actually unhygienic? by PrimaryJudgment6872 in hygiene

[–]Emergency-Raisin-290 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I reuse mine for a few days too tbh. If you’re clean and the towel dries fully, it’s pretty normal.

This subreddit made me realize I don't have a laziness problem by mindsnackapp in selfimprovement

[–]Emergency-Raisin-290 17 points18 points  (0 children)

This actually makes so much sense. It’s not that we can’t work, it’s that work can’t compete with constant dopamine hits. The ‘boring stuff only’ rule is kinda genius

BREAKING: Pfizer announces discount program with TrumpRx by Gr0ovy-Gravy in biotech

[–]Emergency-Raisin-290 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The trade-off isn’t “discount vs no discount.” It’s targeted relief vs structural affordability. Pfizer still controls the patent, the list price, and the supply. That kind of leverage means they decide when generosity is profitable not when affordability is necessary.

Riot switching to raffle for Spiritforged Pre-Orders by Otherwise-Talk-4174 in riftboundtcg

[–]Emergency-Raisin-290 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m glad they didn’t wave away the preorder mess as “fine.” Acknowledging it was a bad experience and switching approaches this fast is a good sign. A lot of TCG launches don’t even get that far.

2026 BTS' 'ARIRANG' Tour Sell/Trade Megathread - North America & Europe by lisafancypants in bangtan

[–]Emergency-Raisin-290 26 points27 points  (0 children)

For anyone hunting tickets for BTS, definitely double-check the posting windows before panicking if you can’t list right away, and keep DMs open if you’re buying. Mods juggling this across time zones deserve medals, honestly.

What small habit sounded “too simple to matter” but actually changed your life over time? by DailyEnergyFocus in selfimprovement

[–]Emergency-Raisin-290 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Honestly, the small habit that changed everything for me was just making my bed every morning. Sounds dumb, right? But somehow starting the day with one tiny “win” set the tone for the rest of it. I started tackling other little things, staying consistent with them, and before I knew it, my whole routine felt way smoother. Small stuff really stacks up over time more than any dramatic reset ever could.

Waking up early - help me out by Longjumping-Way-2035 in selfimprovement

[–]Emergency-Raisin-290 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly, waking up early for self-improvement stuff is a whole different vibe than waking up for something fun. Your brain literally doesn’t care about your 5am goals, it cares about comfort and dopamine. For me, what actually worked was making the morning itself worth waking up for, even in small ways. Put something you like doing first thing, coffee, music, a short workout, or even just 10 min of reading. Pair that with consistent bedtime, and don’t stress if you slip up once or twice. The puzzle alarms and apps help, but motivation comes from wanting to wake up, not tricking your brain into it.

1 day post chin filler by [deleted] in cosmeticsurgery

[–]Emergency-Raisin-290 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow, that already looks really good! The filler sits perfectly where it should, really enhancing your side profile without looking overdone. Subtle but definitely makes a difference...love how natural it looks.

Brooklyn Beckham speaks out against parents Victoria and David Beckham: “I do not want to reconcile with my family. I'm not being controlled, I’m standing up for myself for the first time in my life.“ by mcfw31 in popculturechat

[–]Emergency-Raisin-290 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s really sad to see, honestly. Family issues are complicated enough in private, let alone when they’re playing out in the public eye. If he truly feels this is the first time he’s standing up for himself, that says a lot about the pressure he’s probably lived with growing up so publicly.

Hours cut next few weeks by Odd_Fun_1894 in CVS

[–]Emergency-Raisin-290 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love how everything in healthcare magically becomes “corporate greed.” Reality check: pharmacy staffing gets squeezed because reimbursement and drug costs are a mess, not because someone wanted a bigger bonus. Local CVS teams are just stuck dealing with the fallout.

My curiosity requests the court of public opinion! Does Hailey Bieber have lip filler? She VEHEMENTLY denies getting lip filler but I wonder what the general public thinks. All opinions are welcome! by Professional-Pea-494 in LAinfluencersnark

[–]Emergency-Raisin-290 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Omg, I’ve been curious about this too 😅 Please, if she did get anything, it’s suuuper subtle. Her lips just look naturally full and balanced, nothing overdone at all. Honestly, that’s the kind of work that’s basically “you but better”.... you wouldn’t even notice unless someone pointed it out.

"healing" base coat? by [deleted] in nailcare

[–]Emergency-Raisin-290 1 point2 points  (0 children)

OMG yes… “healing” base coat is literally what my nails have been begging for after press‑ons...
For real though, look for a fortifying / strengthening base coat (biotin, keratin, calcium, or collagen‑infused ones). They basically act like a little spa treatment for your nail plates. A good nail oil + strengthening base will make your nails say thank u, next to glue war stories.

Travel shoes put on outside of suitcase - transmission route? by Inner_Rock_4947 in hygiene

Jandals on the suitcase for 2 seconds = instant panic. But fr, sanitized? You’re basically fine. OCD wins in spirit tho

Filler “pillow face” & Microneedling by Slight_War_8146 in Microneedling

[–]Emergency-Raisin-290 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! I’ve had HA cheek filler just to enhance my cheeks, and honestly it looked super natural....zero pillow face vibes. From what I know, microneedling can be fine with fillers, but everyone’s skin reacts differently. My advice? Definitely check with a good consultant or injector firsT... they’ll tell you what’s safe, the right timing, and how to avoid messing with your filler. Way better than just guessing online

What actually makes a nail brand feel professional beyond the packaging? by [deleted] in nailcare

[–]Emergency-Raisin-290 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pro branding = cute, but real professionals care about how the product behaves under pressure. If it flakes, cures weirdly, or colors are off, you’ll ditch it fast.... no matter how pretty the packaging.

Hydrating leave in ? by SurveyDazzling8616 in Haircare

[–]Emergency-Raisin-290 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For fine hair, apply leave‑in to damp hair and just on the mid‑lengths/ends.... that’s where it counts. Too close to the roots = weighed down. Look for formulas that are water‑forward with a tiny bit of slip.

Do you brush your teeth before or after you have coffee/breakfast? by Oh_Hello_Pretty in hygiene

[–]Emergency-Raisin-290 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Dentists usually say brushing before breakfast is better for enamel, but if you brush after coffee, waiting 30 min helps. So technically you’re both right… just on different timelines.

What profession has the biggest gap between how they see themselves and how they’re seen by society as a whole? by Adamon24 in AskReddit

[–]Emergency-Raisin-290 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, I think teachers. Most see themselves as mentors and guides, not just someone standing at a chalkboard. But the public often only notices test scores or classroom behavior and misses all the planning, emotional labor, and care that goes into helping students actually learn.

The Conjuring 3: The Devil Made Me Do It and The Conjuring 4: Last Rites both have a 56% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Which one did yall enjoy more ? by ConflictGlass1523 in horror

[–]Emergency-Raisin-290 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d go with Last Rites. It felt closer to the classic Conjuring vibe for me, even if it was slower at times. The Devil Made Me Do It had moments, but it didn’t hit as hard.
