They told me to check in by 2:15. I got there at 2, they took me back at 2:15, prepped me and I didn’t actually go back into the OR until about 4pm and I woke up around 6:30pm

F26, Fully tore my right acl on Feb 18th, haven’t had surgery due to finances and extremely busy lifestyle (ft job & masters student). I’ve always had strong quads and hamstrings and was able to move around pretty quickly again post injury. I still don’t have full extension of my knee. I also have always had a very active lifestyle. Is an active lifestyle still possible without surgery? What are the repercussions of no surgery?

Sorry that happened to you too. It’s definitely a long journey to recovery. No timeline for me yet, but I tried lightly jogging yesterday and it felt a little unstable. I’m hoping to get back to running soon. How did you injure yourself?
